Hoover F7425-900 SteamVac Dual V with SpinScrub Hand Tool

Using hot tap water and cleaning solution, the 12-amp Hoover SteamVac V2 deep cleans carpet fibers, tough stains, and upholstery. It is also suitable for tile, ceramic, marble, and linoleum floors (though not appropriate for hardwoods). Named for its dual-nozzle construction, the cleaner provides efficient water removal and thorough edge-to-edge cleaning. The nozzle design forces hot air into the cleaning path and automatically rinses carpet clean on the backward pull. The SpinScrub brushes agitate ground-in dirt and can be turned off with a simple switch. Using a two-tank design that holds up to a gallon of water at a time, the cleaner automatically blends the cleaning solution, so you do not have to monitor it. Both tanks feature an enclosed design and convenient handles, making them easy to remove and transport. The recovery tank automatically shuts off suction when full and comes with a built-in lint screen. A removable view window on the nozzle lets you see dirty water returning to the machine.

For above-floor tasks, the cleaner comes with an 8-foot hose, a stair/upholstery tool, and a SpinScrub hand tool with rotating brushes. Conversion to tool cleaning is manual but quick, and you can remove the hose and tool caddy altogether for more streamlined use. The cleaner comes with a carrying handle, a 27-foot cord, quick-release cord hooks, and a foot pedal to release the handle. Fingertip switches and a trigger control the rinsing, washing, and Clean Surge functions. The removable brushes and a beltless design simplify maintenance. Super Cleaner

I am so impressed with the lightness of this carpet cleaner and the ease of use. I have four cats and a husband that seems to be a dirt magnet and this just does the trick and it's not any trouble to pull it out when there is an unexpected mess!

Cleans Well, Leaks Even Better

I have had the cleaner for just over one year, purchasing it since a puppy is now part of the household.

The machine is very easy to operate, cleans well, and is easy to take apart to clean.

The BIG probelm is that the clean water tank is tissue-paper sturdy. It cracks at the drop of a hat. I used my warranty and replaced the tank TWICE. (Good service, by the way). Last week I lent the cleaner to my best friend, who cracked tank number three. I will replace the tank myself since the warranty has expired. This is the last time I will replace a tank.

Should tank number FOUR crack and start ot leak, my next replacement will be something other than Hoover.

Third LEAKING machine

This is my THIRD (and last) steamVac. Three strikes and your out! When the machine works.... it works very well... which is usually the first few uses and which is why I have tried 3 times now to get one that does not leak. It cleans great and it is very easy to use. But then it starts to leak from the clean water tank. Just a trickle at first. But by the 4th time you use the machine, water is gushing out of the bottom of the clean water tank!! I just want one that does not leak... but if I can't do that with three machines then the chances of you getting one that leaks I'd guess is pretty high. I am now going to try another model. I hear the Hoover Agility has better reviews and is even cheaper! Best wishes in gettting one that does not leak, and if you do... consider yourself lucky!

Lasts (almost) forever!

My parents bought me my first Hot Shot beverage machine while I was a freshman in college back in 1980. Using it virtually every day since, it lasted me until June of 2005! I finally fatigued the metal interior and it developed a small hairline crack. A pretty good value for 25 years of faithful service.

I immediately bought a new one. My only complaint with my new one is that it no longer has markings inside, like my old one did, to indicate how much water is in it. However, the new model holds a full two cups of water, whereas the old one held slightly less.

Sunbeam Hotshot

This is our second Hotshot. We looked everywhere for this one and found it here in Amazon.com. Nothing heats two to three cups of water as fast as the Hotshot. It is probably the safest heater since it is not easy to dispense the hot water on your hand or for a body part to get steam on it. Definitely a "five" star unit.

Sunbeam Hot Shot

I first purchased this item several years ago and was so impressed by the way it worked and that there were no problems at all with it. So when I was looking for a new machine I again turned to Sunbeam and was very happy to find the same (although a little updated) product available and at a terrific price. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

Does the job!

Only used a couple of times but seems to work fairly well so far. We've had our carpets cleaned professionally in the past and the steamvac seems to do a better job. Unbelievable amount of dirt in the recovery tank. We have two large dogs who love to track dirt in the house so we will be using it quite a bit in the future. Hopefully it will hold up. I'll be writing another review in a year or so to let everyone know how it held up, but so far we are happy with the steamvac.

Awesome Carpet Cleaner!

I bought this a little over a month ago, but because of children and traveling, I hadn't been able to use it. Well, I just used it today and "Oh, wow!" is all I can say! Juice stains, milk stains, dirt from potted plant stains, PIZZA sauce stains(and other toddler induced stains!), ALL gone! It's so easy to use! It's like pushing a vaccum cleaner! And the solution tank and dirty water tanks are so easy to empty and refill when necessary! I have a huge living room so I had to fill the solution tank 4 times, but because it's so easy to do, it didn't seem that much of a chore! I went over some stubborn stains more than twice and kind of turned the machine from side to side(which is so easy to do, because it's so lightweight in your hand!), to help the brushes scrub the stain, but they came out, and that's what matters to me!! I have a bad back due to a car accident, but using this machine didn't hurt my back at all! I plan on using this as stains come about, instead of waiting for the whole room to get filthy. And because this machine is so easy to use, I can't imagine it being a problem getting it out, filling the solution tank and running it over the stains. If you're looking for a carpet/steam cleaner, I highly recommend this one. I've used Bissel and Dirt Devil brands in the past, but they did NOT do as well as this one does!

I LIKED THE HOOVER AGILITY. IT WAS EASIER TO USE THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE; THE TANKS WERE LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO GET IN AND OUT. IT CLEANED UP STAINS WITH EASE. I REALLY ENJOY THIS STEAM VAC.

these are great for packing lunch to work

they come in different sizes so you can pack whatever you like. I haven't had any problems with leakages, the lids are pretty tight. Just make sure you handwash the lids so they don't end up warping like typical plastic tupperware, though I've thrown mine into the dishwasher dozens of times and the lids are still fine.

These are great not only for packing lunches, but also for steaming and baking small food proportions!

The only "problem" I have with these is like any dish you nuke for a few minutes, it gets super hot and hard to grab on to. Just make sure when you get these out of the microwave to use some mitts (I use a few layers of paper towels, scrunch them up and grab onto the dish) before you drop the whole thing.

Keeps your produce fresh!

I did not buy this set from amazon, but from kmart instead. But I just had to come here and write a review for these amazing storage bowls.

We bought a head of butter lettuce 6 weeks ago. I had no place to store it in the humidity bin in our fridge, so I plucked all the leaves off the lettuce and put them in the 7 cup round bowl. Then I put the bowl in the fridge and forgot all about it.

Come tonight, I am cleaning the fridge and find the bowl with the lettuce still in there. I was curious as to how well the bowl worked, so I thought I would try a couple lettuce leaves.

The results?

THEY ARE AS FRESH TASTING AND AS CRISPY AS THE DAY I BOUGHT THEM!!! I am not kidding! Absolutely zero wilting, decay or even mold. Now if that isn't amazing storage, I really don't know what is. Keep a head of lettuce in a plastic bag for a week in the fridge and see what it turns into.

I also tried a leaking test after I read some of the reviews here. Mine didn't leak any liquid at all and I tipped the bowl several times.

If you do buy these bowls in person rather than online, check the lids - make sure they are tight fitting. I did this and my bowls have never failed me. I also handwash the bowls and lids, so I'm not sure if that also keeps them in good shape, as opposed to the dishwasher.

Glass is extremely hygienic, does not carry odours and is so easy to clean - it doesn't stain unlike plastic!

I'm soooo excited that the Pyrex bowls kept the lettuce fresh. They worked even better than our humidity bin! I should call Westinghouse and tell them!

I can't wait till they are on sale again so I can get more. They are wonderful and so worth the cost even if they aren't on sale.

Great Altenative to Tupperware and Plastic!!!!!

These glass storage containers are an awesome alternative to tupperware! Plastic is not good for your health!!! Phthalates in plastic storage containers can cause many problems. These Glass ones are perfect. Plus you can take them out of the fridge and throw them in the oven for easy heating. AWESOME!!!!
